Virginia Tech star quarterback Josh Jackson has been suspended indefinitely by the team for academic reasons, per reports.
As a freshman last year, Jackson threw for 2743 yards with 19 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, guiding the Hokies to a 9-4 record.
The Hokies open the season on the road in prime time, as they face the Florida State Seminoles under new head coach Willie Taggart on Labor Day. Kickoff is set for 8:00PM EST.
