Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has hired Joel Segal (Lagardère Sports) to represent him going forward, Ian Rapoport reports. Winston fired his former agents following negotiations with the NFL to whittle down what would have been a six game suspension to only a three game suspension.
The Buccaneers have exercised Winston's fifth-year option and control him through the 2019 season, but can walk away from Winston at the end of this season.
The Bucs are 2-0 to start the season without Winston, and play the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in Monday Night Football.
