Mark Richt makes Malik Rosier Miami's starting QB again

Mark Richt has made a decision about Miami’s quarterback situation, and it’s one Hurricanes fans likely won’t be excited about. When the team takes on Boston College in Week 9 following its bye, Malik Rosier will be under center.

During the ACC weekly conference call, Richt said that Rosier will start, and that freshman N’Kosi Perry will “likely” get some playing time, per Christy Chirinos of the Sun-Sentinel.

A few weeks ago, Rosier was pulled after two series in Miami’s game against Florida International.

Perry came in and breathed life into an offense that has lacked any real spark for years. Between that game and Week 7’s incredible comeback win over Florida State, the freshman piled up eight touchdown passes and just two interceptions, and the ‘Canes won all three games.
