Mizzou Banned From 2019 Postseason

The NCAA has banned Missouri football from playing in a bowl game next season due to academic misconduct. Per the NCAA :

"A former University of Missouri, Columbia, tutor violated NCAA ethical conduct, academic misconduct and academic extra benefits rules when she completed academic work for 12 student-athletes, according to a Division I Committee on Infractions panel."

According to Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com, the NCAA Committee on Infractions has recommended that the restrictions placed on seniors who seek to transfer following this news be waived.

Missouri is coming off of an 8-5 season and a win in the Liberty Bowl. In a bright spot for the Tigers, per The State , graduate transfer QB Kelly Bryant is planning to stay at Mizzou.
