Cowboy's DT David Irving Announces Retirement Smoking a Blunt

25-year-old David Irving announced his retirement during an Instagram LIVE session late Thursday Night, and says he has "no regrets" in his decision and is 100% done with football. He made the announcement while smoking a blunt, just days after being given his 3rd substance abuse violation in 4 years.

In the clip Irving makes it clear that he prefers marijuana over painkillers and other alternative medical methods.

“Basically, guys, I quit,” He added in a different part of the full 17 minute video “I’m out of there. I’m not doing this Sh*t no more. You know, it’s a lot of reasons why, you know, I’ve come to this decision, but y’all know how it is. It’s a lot of f*cked Sh*t. Um, it’s a lot of sh*t f*cked up with the NFL.....But yeah, I’m all right, this is my choice, I’m living with it. I’m not about to be forced into doing something. I’m not playing for free … I don’t think I’m a bad guy for choosing this route. You know, I stand up for what I believe in.”
